How to plant bulb plants?
Firstly - of course - the soil must be prepared - weed, dig about 30 cm deep, and turn over.
The bulbs should preferably be treated - either with ash or with basalt flour. This is to repel pests and prevent diseases.
The soil should be rich in humus and well-drained - you can fertilize with organic compost.
How do you plant iris? Many people plant a small bulb quite shallow, while those with sandy soil should plant the iris deeper so that the flower does not tip over after growing.
When do we plant bulb plants? Summer-flowering ones - we sow in spring in April and May. These are, for example, dahlias and irises. In autumn, we plant plants that bloom in spring.
